“The Brotherhood Initiative is by far the best organization that I have had the privilege to be a part of in my college career. BI has allowed me to build lifelong connections with strong, intelligent individuals who look like me, sound like me, and share similar interests and experiences. It has created a space where I feel seen, supported, and motivated to succeed. You should join the Brotherhood Initiative because it provides sustained academic, professional, and social support, but beyond that, it fosters a genuine community at UW where everyone is committed to uplifting one another, holding each other accountable, and striving for excellence together. Without BI, I likely would have transferred during my first year; now, I truly love UW, and I credit that transformation to my involvement in the Brotherhood Initiative.”
